A small bathroom can sometimes be hard to work with especially when you are thinking about remodeling. Planning can be an essential key to finding the right bathroom sink that is going to be perfect for your bathroom. With all of the many styles available, finding the right small bathroom sinks can actually be a lot of fun. Of course, it can be a bit time consuming but doing your research will not only save you a lot of headaches but can also save you a lot of money too.
What Type of Sink
First of all, you need to decide if you want to have a sink with a small bathroom vanity or just a standalone sink. In the old days, you had to choose a ceramic sink and didn't have any other choices. Today small bathrooms, as well as large bathroom sinks are made in different styles, colors and textures.
Ceramic and porcelain bathroom sinks are no longer boring. You have color choices as well as shapes now. You can choose from a vessel sink or a drop in sink according to your bathroom needs. The shapes are very contemporary and unique, giving the old square and round sinks a new twist.
Glass vessel sinks have really become popular over the last couple of years. The first glass vessel sinks were either clear glass or frosted glass. Now they come in all colors and patterns from an ocean shore look to a classic black and white zebra glass sink. The glass is tempered and made extra thick as to ensure that you will enjoy many years of this beautiful piece of bathroom glass.
A small pedestal sink is another good choice especially if you are working with a small bathroom. These pedestal sinks have a bowl size of about 20" or less and are made to fit in a bathroom. You can choose a regular pedestal sink or a corner pedestal sink. They range from ceramic to finished copper. They also have different bowl shapes and it just depends on your preference. It is a great way to fit a sink into a tiny bathroom, especially with limited bathroom floor space.
Wall mount sinks are great for narrow bathrooms. They mount right into the wall and are very neat looking. The wall mount style will give you a lot of extra room in your bathroom. Of course, you will not have any storage space but you will have an elegant looking sink mounted onto your bathroom wall. It is truly a contemporary looking bathroom sink.
There are other small bathroom sinks that you could consider depending on your budget. You could choose from other finished sinks such as wood or even bronze. Small bathroom sinks are easy to install and will give your bathroom a nice open look. Explore the possibilities and do your research before you begin your bathroom sink project. The finished product will speak for itself and you will have a very nice small investment made in your finished bathroom.
