For small bathrooms that only have a very limited space and getting an expansion isn't an alternative, small vanities are indeed very useful. These small vanities can still give you the bathroom amenities that you needed without compromising the overall space of your bathroom layout. If you happen to have a tight budget then just consider something that is not just simple and economical but also small and classic items that will suits your limited budget. Small vanities will certainly match into proportion for the small space that your bathroom has. It won't take up much of your bathroom space and will definitely look tidy.
Prior to buying any vanity items, think about the use of that particular vanity and its practicality as well as its economic value. Small bathroom vanity cabinets are enough if it is used to store in tools for personal hygiene, facecloths, towels and anything small will surely fit in. However, if in case you will include hair dryers, makeups, hairbrushes, etc., small vanity might not be enough for it. And buying bulky vanity only because it's there and that you can avail such is also not reasonable enough to purchase the bulky vanity which is a lot bigger than what you really need.
Small vanities are perfect for the bathrooms of children. Children do only need small storage since it is only used to store their supplies for bubble bath and some floating toys that were used during their bath in the tub. The small modern bathroom vanity will make the bathroom have more space for dad or mom while they watch their kid took their bath. Just keep in mind to not ever leave you small kid bathing alone in the bathroom since kids are very energetic and playful and might have an accident if left unguided.
If happen to also have some kind of a guest bathroom that is inside a guest bedroom, the small vanity is enough for it too. All you have to place is a small storage that would keep soap and towels for your guest. It will be perfect since guest bathrooms are naturally smaller compare to that of the common bathroom anyway, also the small vanity will make the bathroom look uncluttered, tidy and spacious enough for your guest. I'm pretty sure that you don't want to make your guest feel claustrophobic because of a bathroom that does not have enough space. But if you want to give your guest an impression of being an unwanted-guest and discouraged them, then feel free to have gigantic vanity that you can find.
For minimalist type of people and want to achieve an uncluttered look for their bathroom, small vanity is right for them. Small vanity will make you store items that you really needed. People tend to be pack rats when they have big vanity since big vanity means more space to fill which make you feel the need to put more unneeded stuff just to fill up the space. In small vanity, you can fill it easily and become streamlined and go on towards the other facets of your life.
