Not enough bathroom space? Is it feeling a little cramped in your bathroom? Do you find yourself not having enough space to move around? Sometimes a complete bathroom makeover is out of the question.
No need to worry, a small bath tub might be the direction you're looking for. Installing a small bathtub is cost efficient and takes very little time to do. Also, it might just give you the space you need and not take away the relaxing time you want to spend in the bathtub.
With having a smaller tub you gain more space and can still have that relaxing soak at the end of the day. Small baths can give you some extras a regular bathtub cannot. Things like being more comfortable while soaking in your small soaking bathtub, extra space to move around, or even maybe the nice new decorative shelving you've been eyeing at the store; are all possibilities opened to you when you choose a smaller tub.
With small bath tubs you can be completely submerged in water while sitting in a comfortable upright position because these bathtubs are a great deal deeper than your average tub. With your normal size tub you have to lie almost completely down to be covered with nice hot soapy water, which can cause discomfort to the neck and back area. Come on, when you take a bath you don't want to be uncomfortable, do you?
Space Saving
Let's talk space saving, shall we? With a small bath tub you can open up a lot of space in your bathroom. The average size bath tub is 32 inches wide and 60 inches in length (around five feet in length). That's a pretty good amount of space to take up in a small room. The average small bath measures round 30 inches wide and 30-31 inches in length. That's a 30 inch difference! Think what you you can could do with that. How about a nice mirror, or a tall rack, or maybe even leave the spaces open to give the room a bigger feel. So with a smaller tub you can free up a good amount of space to do anything you want with, and there's no remodel to deal with.
Comfort
Which do you prefer, trying to soak and wash while laying down and trying to stay under water or, sitting in a nice comfortable position while being fully under hot water all the way to your neck. With these small deep bathtubs there's no fighting to stay under water or laying in an uncomfortable way. You can sit down, be comfortable, and be fully covered with the relaxing hot water you've been waiting for all day. At the end of the day all you want to do is relax, right? Have a nice dinner, watch a TV show maybe, and then take a nice hot bath before bed. Well you can do just that and not be uncomfortable in anyway.
Varieties
Small bath tubs come in many varieties now. A nice feature is that you can choose which color you want and where you want to put it. In addition, you can also decide whether you want a step in tub or if you would prefer a walk in tub. Perhaps you want to go the next step with space saving and go for a small corner bathtub (which will fit neatly in a corner). These are all options available to you.
Whether you want a step in, a walk in, or maybe some extra space, a small size bathtub is definitely a step in the right direction. With a smaller size bathroom a smaller size bathtub would adds that extra bit of space.
