Bathroom tiles are available in many different colors, and when picking a color sometimes less is more. While beige may seem like an almost invisible color, it basically is, and that is why it is the perfect background color for your bathroom. A light beige backdrop is a great way to make a small bathroom look a little larger. Beige is also very adaptable, looking good in either casual or more elegant bathrooms.

Picking Beige to Enlarge a Small Room
Small bathrooms expand visually when decorated in light colors. Lighter colors make the walls open up, and they also reflect light to make the whole room seem brighter and more open. Combining beige tile with cream colored walls is a great design choice for a small bathroom. Having a basic, pale, neutral background is the perfect blank canvas for adding pops of colors with accessories as you develop your design.

Creating a Laid Back Atmosphere with Beige
Incorporating beige tile into a relaxed style bathroom designed in a cottage or shabby chic style works very well. Beige coordinates well with other light colors frequently used in these styles, such as light blue, rose, lavender or sage green. If you want to incorporate patterns like floral designs in your small bathroom, then creating a wholly beige background for the room is a great way to do it. Seaside bathroom themes also go fabulously with beige tile, as it mixes well with the light blue, sea foam green and off-white shades that are often popular colors for seaside decorating themes.

Morphing a Small Bathroom into a Retreat
A common theme for a bathroom is a calming spa, and you can use this design effectively in your bathroom regardless of its size. A bathroom with beige tile for the walls or floor fits a spa design completely. Beige tile combined with cream walls, fluffy white towels and wall decor store or wall hanging candle holders can create a very minimalistic look that can be quite relaxing.

Luxuriously Beige in the Bathroom
Even though beige is a neutral color, it can be quite elegant. Beige can be adorned or dressed down, so to make it more stylish add beautiful accessories to your bathroom. Coupling beige ceramic tile with earthy stone in shades of beige makes a perfect backdrop for your elegant bathroom design. Wall vase and mirrors can add the finishing touch.
