Tropical bathroom theme will work for adults and children. Tropical decor is a great way to brighten up the small bath or turn the master bathroom into a retreat. You can design a tropical bathroom for a sense of elegance, whimsy or for creating a getaway in your home.

If you are going to decorate tropical bathroom, you can use natural materials. You need to look for the vanity with woven grass accents. Or, you can also consider using bamboo since it is commonly used in tropical decor. You can keep metals understated such as the oil rubbed bronze light fixture or the sink faucet. It is good for you to accent the room with large wood carvings or masks for the island flair. The glass elements can add a contemporary feeling while being reminiscent of the ocean like the frosted vessel sink.

Moreover, tropical bathroom can be bright or soothing. You can go all out with citrus colors such as lime green, lemon yellow, and orange. If you want to get a more feminine tropical bath, you can try a flamingo pink or coral. Also, you can use sand colors on tiles and pair it with the rich wood tones fro an understated theme. These colors are versatile so that you can change the look of your bathroom in the future.

Furthermore, choosing tropical theme can be luxurious or fun. You should keep the theme literal instead of understated with palm tree print shower curtain. The colorful fish prints on the walls and the toothbrush holders can brighten up the space. You can also hang the striped beach towels instead of the traditional bathroom towels for added color.

Additionally, you can add some accessories to your bathroom. Adding candles can create a spa feeling in the bathroom. Besides, you can also give glass candle holders a tropical feel by wrapping the papyrus around the outside and affixing it with double sided tape.

Adding clawfoot tub accessory like acrylic clawfoot tubs will also add great ambiance to your bathroom. However, you should consider about the space available in your bathroom.
